Lewis is a sweet, chunky, elderly rat who lives with his two brothers, Pip and Squeak. He loves malt paste and sleeping in his Sputnik, but has recently started showing signs of age-related stress and confusion.

My sweet old rat started screaming at his brothers. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong.

This is basically my journal for figuring out my elderly rat Lewis's sudden aggression. One night he just started screaming at his cage mates, Pip and Squeak, and it's been a journey of worry, vet visits, and trying to make his golden years as peaceful as possible. I'm documenting what's happening and what we're trying, just hoping to get my sweet boy back.

Woke up in the middle of the night to a horrible sound. My elderly rat Lewis has started showing sudden aggression, and I'm so worried about him.
